BIO
Angela Latimer is an African American Editor from Chicago
Illinois. Angela received her introduction to film while
completing her B.A. in Art and Science at Chicago State
University. After receiving her B.A Angela worked as a freelance
editor in Chicago. Angela’s keen ability to assemble stories
on screen that appeal to the emotion across audiences earned her
spot in the editing program at American Film Institute.
Having received her M.F.A. in Editing from the American Film
Institute, Angela was able to cultivate her expertise in editing.
Angela’s passion and trick of trade in editing has created
opportunities for her to work on a number of diverse projects as
an editor such as “Road to the Well,” “Intercept,” “The Big
Chop,” “The Tax Collector,” and “The Illegal”. Angela is also an
alumnus of ACE diversity mentorship program.
Angela’s recent works include Assistant Editor on feature
film, “The Old Guard,” Associate Editor on feature film “The Tax Collector,”and Editor on feature film “The Illegal”.
